Thought number two: You've managed to present humans in uniforms in such a way that I see much more of the latter than the former. These people just happen to be wearing them, not vice versa.

Well, they are - humans, not uniforms.
(Don't think this reply blunt; I thought about it for a while and decided that's the - well - best - answer I can give.)

Surely.

Perhaps I could elaborate a bit on my underlying thought. Which was: There are people in uniforms on the Russian side of the front, too. What makes them different? That's not a rhetorical point; I reckon there ARE crucial differences.
