The above is just a snippet of the rich historical route repertoire the Frankenjura has to offer. They are milestones from the period when the climbing style redpoint was born and developed. These were times when keen locals, often accompanied by their friends from all over the world, lived and breathed climbing, roaming through the Frankenjura with a bucket of red paint. With each red circle, they painted a further bit of climbing history. A history soon to be 50 years rich.
A history that we're looking to celebrate at its source – in the beautiful Frankenjura.
50 routes. 50 climbers. 50 photos – by 2025; for the 50th anniversary of REDPOINT. A celebration of the
redpoint style done properly – with a look that will suit the groovy times; telling old stories and making
new ones; sharing the ride with other psyched climbers. This is 50RP – a photography project born out of passion.
50RP = 50 Rotpunkte = 50 redpoints.
