2025: THE ANNIVERSARY
It's 2025! For us, it means one thing: the 50th Anniversary of Redpoint - and a good reason to celebrate free climbing.
Almost five years ago when we first came up with the Project, this moment seemed very distant. Now it's there and we're cooking up a little celebration that will take place in autumn! From the 13th of September, we want to welcome you in Obertrubach for a round-up of 50RP and fun on the local crags!

EXHIBITION IS ON! 13.09-28.09.2025
See you in the Schlöttermühle (that is just out of Obertrubach, directly under the Dachlwand).
Saturday 13.09.2025 - from 17:30 / 5:30pm (coffee and cake, climbing and banter all day)
Sunday 14.09.2025 - all day (film in the late afternoon)
Then: daily from 16:30 / 4:30pm until ca. 19:30 / 7:30pm (contact us for extended times)

This site will keep expanding with more information as we're nearing the event. So far, you can look forward to:
- a climbing meetup across the Obertrubach crags
- workshops with our wonderful Climbers (booking opening soon)
- book premiere - yes! 50RP is turning into a BOOK! and you can take it home with you directly at the event
- film night - based on a series of interviews where the Climbers who wrote history tell about it themselves
- photo exhibition - the photos we've been shooting for the past three years will finally be shown to the world!
While attendance at the event is free, booking is required to make sure we can accommodate for all Guests. Workshops must be booked separately - see below.

Coffee is an inseparable part of climbing.
We know it very well and live it. Great coffee can't be missing from our event either! We're very happy to have Röstmal from Gößweinstein join us! They're a local roastery who make excellent specialty coffee - believe us, we've tried! Pay them a visit online here. Home-made cake from those famous Franconian cafes will also be provided. |

That's why we've planned a climbing meetup and workshops. You can also come hang out with us at the Schlöttermühle all day. If you play a music instrument and would enjoy some spontaneous jamming, we invite you to bring it along!

We're glad and grateful to be working with Jürgen and Michaela Wölfel, the Owners of our exhibition venue - Schlöttermühle - and immensly grateful for their support. We also want to thank Markus Grüner, Mayor of Obertrubach, for welcoming climbers for the event and year-round.
